Pride in our past. Purpose in our future.

A story of people who built beyond themselves—carrying Rapar in their hearts while serving families across Vagad and Mumbai.

Two generations walking together through cultivated land in Kutch

Rapar, in the historic Vagad region of Kutch

Hard work on sacred ground.

Living in Rapar—the heart of the historic Vagad region, the Leuva Patidar Samaj became more than a community. It became a living symbol of dedication, philanthropy, and unbroken unity.

Through work on the land and enterprise far beyond it, community members built an identity that brings pride to the entire region. Yet success was never understood as an individual achievement. It created a responsibility to return, uplift, and serve.

वसुधैव कुटुम्बकम्

The world is one family.

The Leuva Patidar community has never limited its care to itself. Walking hand-in-hand with other communities, it has lived the belief of Bahujan Hitaya, Bahujan Sukhaya—for the welfare and happiness of many.

Rapar shaped us. Mumbai expanded what we could give back.

Members of the community reached remarkable heights in business and industry in Mumbai, India’s financial capital. They made the city their karmabhoomi—the place of work and achievement—without ever forgetting their native land.

Business leaders and donors consistently directed their wealth and experience toward Rapar’s educational facilities, healthcare, religious festivals, and relief during natural disasters. That generosity earned respect far beyond the Samaj itself.

Four moments in a continuing story.

Registration did not begin the work. It gave decades of work a durable home.

A grand community reunion in Mumbai gathered thousands of members and renewed the community’s shared purpose.

  4. 2025

Decades of community work received a strong, official structure for the generations ahead.

Three decades of standing together.

Under the leadership of Shri Parbatbhai Samabhai Karotra, the Mitra Mandal has worked for more than three decades to foster unity, resolve community challenges, stand against injustice, and help families live without fear.

Since 2001, its annual community wedding ceremonies have celebrated marriages with shared joy and collective dignity.

Our history is still being written.
